A larger than average diameter allows the design to be seen; providing an effective border to frame the serveware sat atop.
A double row of plaited hemp has been used to create the wavy part of the design, which brings an added level of detail whilst providing a weighty and fuller looking placemat with which to enhace the textural aesthetic at the table.
A hemp twine runs through the plaiting on the outer edge in order to maintain its wavy border.
